Elozoham set to host Inaugural BBNaija Eviction Vodcast

On the first-ever BBNaija eviction vodcast, an ex-BBNaija housemate and creative personality named Elozonam Ogbulu will have private chats with eliminated BBNaija Level Up housemates.

The ongoing BBNaija reality TV show’s PR consultant, Info Digital Africa (ID Africa), said in a statement that the eviction vodcast was a close-up talk with the expelled housemates in which they shared their experiences in Big Brother’s House.

The eviction vodcast, according to the statement, would go deeply into what it was like for them to “bare it all” on the show.

“The first episode will air in August, and subsequent episodes will be available on Showmax and DStv Catch Up.

Due to his remarkable content, which includes skits, commercials, and microfilms, the multi-talented creative personality—who was a housemate in the BBNaija “Pepper Dem” season—has established himself as one of the most creative housemates in the program’s history.

It stated that “in 2018, he hosted his show “The Cliffhanger,” where he spoke with young people, including several former BBNaija housemates.

In his response, Elozonam said, “I’m excited to be hosting this vodcast and getting the chance to have honest conversations with the evicted housemates.

“As an ex-BBNaija housemate myself, I have an idea of what the experience is like and that knowledge will surely come into play in my conversations with the Level Up housemates.”

The statement claims that this year’s BBNaija experience on Showmax for fans is on a whole new level with tonnes of BBNaija content.

“The contents include the exclusive talk show BBNaija S7: the Buzz, hosted by media personality, Toke Makinwa, the eviction vodcast, and Secret Diaries, which are short clips from the Diary Room and daily and weekly highlights episodes to download to your phone to watch later.”

Fans of BBNaija in sub-Saharan Africa, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland have access to all the action in the Big Brother houses on Showmax for the second consecutive year.

Visit www.showmax.com for more information on the eviction vodcast, BBNaija S7: The Buzz, and other Showmax programmes. Watch every BBNaija Level Up event live on Showmax for as little as 1,200 Naira per month on mobile, according to the statement.

Kenyan Law Court dismisses case of man seeking compensation after his wife eloped with another man from hospital

A lawsuit filed by a man seeking to be compensated by St Mary's Mission Hospital in Kenya for allowing his wife to leave the hospital with another man after giving birth, has been struck out by a law court.    The appellant had sued the St. Mary's Mission hospital at Kakamega law courts in 2020 seeking general damages from the facility on grounds that the hospital had discharged his wife and allowed her to leave with another man. After delivering and at the time of discharge, the wife of the appellant claimed he was the baby's father.   The court of appeal judges Patrick Kiage, Mumbi Ngugi and Francis Tuiyott sitting at the Kisumu Court of Appeal, empathized with the man, but disagreed that he (the appellant) be compensated by the hospital for not detaining his wife.  They upheld the lower court's judgement which added that there's no remedy that lies in the law for such grievances.   Kiage said;   "I agree that if a man takes the woman he loves to t...

Nigerian Military hands over 23 rescued children to UNICEF through Borno State

The Nigerian military has handed over 23 children who were formerly associated with Boko Haram insurgents, to UNICEF through the Borno State government.  The children were picked up during various military operations around the north-east region. Aged between 17 and 10 years, the boys and girls confessed to the military that they have been assisting the Boko Haram insurgents either as fighters or domestic helps in the camps. The Theatre Commander of a military counterinsurgency force, Abba Dikko, said the 23 children were released in line with Nigeria military’s commitment to the observance of human rights. He observed that the children and other vulnerable persons were victims who faced with the highly unstable circumstances induced by the conflict would have had little option but to fall under the thrall of the insurgents.  “We were able to identify this category of people, especially the women, the aged and children to whom it behooves our sense of duty and res...
