The federal government has slammed a 12-count charge on former boss of Pension Reform Task Team, Abdul-Rasheed Maina.
He was arraigned before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja, for allegedly helping himself to the funds of pensioners.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the prosecution agency, in the 12 -count charge, accused Maina of corruption and money laundering.
The EFCC said that as chairman of the reform team, Maina laundered funds against EFCC Act.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to all the 12-count charge.
He is presently arguing his bail application
